Cedar Court Care Home provides specialist residential, nursing and dementia care for 25 residents. Since opening we have grown and employ highly skilled workers whose primary role is to provide residents and families with the very best care available in the UK.
Cedar Court Care Home’s primary objective is to improve the quality of life of the people we care for. We seek to promote independence, choice and dignity of the individual. We believe that people must be safe and secure at all times, whilst providing a relaxed and stimulating environment that motivates them to live a full and happy life. From the home’s manager, through to the nursing and care professionals, catering team and auxiliary staff, we demand the highest standards. Our rigorous appointment and vetting procedures, together with ongoing training, ensures those demands are met.
Cedar Court Care Home’s staff are appointed on the basis of their long-term commitment to the provision of exceptional care.
This service is for people with more complex healthcare needs that cannot be provided at home and require the supervision of fully qualified nurses. Such work could include frequent complex medication regimes; and wound care requiring constant assessment, monitoring and care planning.
Nursing staff are available 24 hours a day seven days a week who specialise in providing therapeutic and enabling care for our residents and are supported by teams of highly skilled healthcare workers who assist with all aspects of personal care and support to ensure our residents receive the very best care and attention.
We work closely with members of the external multi-disciplinary community teams which include the residents’ GP, the District Nurses and other specialists to ensure our residents’ needs are met swiftly and appropriately.
Types of care
Cedar Court Care home provides residential, dementia and nursing care, with a focus on the highest possible standards of living for our residents and peace of mind for family and friends.
This services is a specialised service for people living with dementia. We call it our Cedar Court Connect Group. For those living with dementia, the Programme is designed to focus on a person’s key strengths, helping residents live active and fulfilling lives.
This service is for older people (65 and above) with more complex healthcare needs which cannot be provided at home and requires the supervision of fully qualified nurses, such as frequent complex medication regimes and complex wound care.
Also referred to as Personal Care and Assisted Living, this service is for older people (65 and above) who require support with the activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, medication supervision, cooking, cleaning and mobility.
Respite care is a service for people who wish to stay with us on a short term basis. This can be for people who need a little extra support whilst recovering from an illness or operation and can be for one week or a few months.
